“The Armor” was inspired by the idea of wearing the full armor of GOD as portrayed in Ephesians 6.

The meaning

The front of the shirt shows off the acronym GEAR with each letter followed by the corresponding number of the represented alphabet instead of a dot or other shape. The word GEAR has multiple meanings where in the slang vernacular means clothing, and in different context can mean equipment. The title of this shirt design is The Armor which directly represents what GEAR is referring to here.

The logo on the sleeve is the Crest that represents the acronym GEAR. The first thing you may notice represented by the crest is the Shield of faith. Paul writes in the book of Ephesians Ch 6 to take up the Shield in order to extinguish all the flaming arrows from the enemy. This image is a metaphor used to describe the barrage of assaults aimed at weakening ones faith in an effort to lead all who are called by GOD to sin. And as written in the book of 1 Timothy Ch 2, GOD wants everyone to be saved.

Inside the shield there is the representation of the Sword of the Spirit. This imagery is illustrative of a soldier's weapon in battle. A sword can both defend, and attack. When the Holy Spirit is allowed to guide then the Word of GOD empowers the believer to stand firm against many forms of opposition.

This leads to the intersecting of the anchor which is used to hold something firmly in place. The idea being in this imagery is to be held firmly in the Word of GOD, to be unmovable from the idea that GODs word is the Truth and has authority over all reprobation.
